Introducing TPM and Organizations

Oliver has been upgraded! He now works as a Technical Program Manager for your team. Connect your existing Notion task board, and Oliver adapts to your workflow instead of forcing you into a new one.

Oliver adapts to your workflow

Most project management tools force teams to adopt a specific workflow. DoWhiz takes the opposite approach: Oliver learns your existing Notion board schema and works within it.

Oliver dynamically discovers your existing Notion DB schemas and uses them correctly. Your team keeps working the way they already do. Oliver just makes it run smoother.

Organizations bring teams together

Organizations let teams share a Notion workspace and coordinate across members. When you create an organization in DoWhiz:

  • All members can trigger TPM syncs/cron jobs using shared Notion credentials.
  • Oliver knows your team roster with names, emails, and channel IDs.
  • Task assignments flow to the right people automatically.
  • Overdue notifications reach assignees via their preferred channel.

What TPM v1 does

The first version of TPM mode focuses on three core capabilities:

ETA tracking and overdue follow-ups

Oliver monitors task deadlines and sends friendly nudges when work slips. If a task is 3+ days past its ETA, Oliver reaches out to the assignee via Slack, Discord, or email depending on what contact info is available.

Task population from GitHub and Discord

Oliver scans your GitHub repos for open issues and PRs, then checks Discord channels like #bug-reports and #feature-requests. New items get added to your Notion board automatically, tagged by source so you know where they came from.

Competitive research

During scheduled syncs, Oliver searches for competitor activity and market signals. When something relevant surfaces, it becomes a research task on your board so the team can investigate and respond.

Getting started

  1. Create an organization in your Team Workspace.
  2. Connect your Notion workspace via OAuth.
  3. Point Oliver at your existing task board (or let him create one).
  4. Add team members with their Slack/Discord IDs for notifications.
  5. Schedule daily or weekly TPM syncs, or trigger them on demand.

Oliver handles the rest. Your board stays current, deadlines get tracked, and your team gets nudged when things slip.

What comes next

TPM v1 is just the start. Future versions will add workload balancing across team members, sprint planning assistance, and deeper GitHub integration for PR review workflows.

The goal stays the same: Oliver adapts to how your team works, not the other way around.
